Job Scope

  • Assess relevant training needs for individuals and organization in consultation with Heads of Departments.
  • Design pre and post training assessments and training effectiveness measurement systems.
  • Design training courses and programmes necessary to meet training needs; manage this activity through external providers as needed.
  • Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies, agencies; provide/ensure required training to desired standards.
  • Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation, vendor payments as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery.
  • Plan and deliver training courses personally where necessary to augment those provided externally or internally by others.
  • Ensure effective maintenance of all training aids and equipment; create and maintain full library of all training courses.
  • Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety, employment and equality laws.
  • Track and report on activities, costs, performance, etc. as required.
  • Maintain and Update training MIS on a regular basis.
  • Manage, maintain and update Learning Management System.
  • Adhere to the environment health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organization.
  • Ensure that the Region is compliant with Process Training SOP.

Required Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • Graduate or Global Equivalent Degree. Preferably MBA
  • 6-8 years of work experience with at least 4 years of experience in training management and delivery.
  • Excellent one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Should have good working knowledge of the latest training tools & must be abreast of current technologies in the area of training.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to research, write behavioural objectives, and write training materials with facilitator guides.
  • Ability and willingness to develop self and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
