Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Owner of a growing, asset-based 3PL with a mission to forge long-term relationships with their customers by providing exceptional value, communication and performance.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development of profitable Freight Brokerage business. Will be responsible for the closing and development of profitable new business and managing the startup process after the sale. Will also coordinate with Managers and Carrier Sales team to create business solutions and long-term business relationships with perspective new customers. Challenge is to expand account base, supporting profitable increased revenues.

Background Required:
  • Sales / Business Development within transportation/freight brokerage (5+ years)
  • Service offering (i.e. Freight Brokerage, 3PL, TL)
  • Regional and National accounts experience
  • Strong Selling and closing capabilities
  • Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
  • Contractual Business Process (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
  • Develop and execute business plan strategies
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
  • Residence: USA

  • Education: College Graduate
