Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Sales of a leading, asset-based, full-service 3PL specializing in multimodal services.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development of profitable Freight Brokerage and Asset reefer business within his or her region. Will be responsible for the closing and development of profitable new business and coordinating with Account Management team to implement the customer’s solution and onboarding. Will also coordinate with Managers, Pricing Analysts, and Operations team to create business solutions and long-term business relationships with perspective new customers. Challenge is to regionally expand account base, supporting profitable increased revenues within the Branch network.

Background Required:
- Outside sales / Business Development within freight brokerage and asset services (3+ years)
- Service offering (i.e. Reefer, TL, Dry Van)
- Regional and National accounts experience
- Strong Selling and closing capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-level executives
- Strong Negotiation Ability (Customer, Margin Integrity)
- Contractual Business Process (RFP, RFI, RFQ)
- Develop and execute business plan strategies
- Computer literate (Microsoft Suite: Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Residence: Remote (Dallas, TX preferred or Mid-Atlantic region)
- Education: College Graduate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High energy with a sense of urgency
- Ability to multitask
- Team player
