About Our Client

Our client, an international supplier to the Automotive Industry, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Western Canada. This individual will develop and support ongoing, profitable relationships with existing customers, and secure new business aligned with the company's overall sales strategy. The ideal candidate is seeking a chance to grow their skill set, has some exposure to automotive distribution channels, off-highway OEMs and Master Service Dealers in Canada. As part of the National Sales Group, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for performing a diverse range of functions including but not limited to:

  • Promote sales of the company's product line across the assigned territory
  • Work closely with customers to ensure their needs are understood and met
  • Make recommendations and product suggestions that help you achieve sales targets
  • Utilize technology to gather and disseminate data
  • Develop strong relationships with key clients, and work to foster new relationships with potential clients
  • Manage budget, pricing, discounts, incentives and negotiations
  • Along with the Sales Director, create and implement a sales strategy to drive additional revenue and profit
  • Present sales reports, budgets and forecasts to the VP and the President
  • Work with the Marketing Department to help shape marketing activities to meet your sales objectives
  • Participate in other special projects as required


The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for this role:

  • College or University degree in a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of the OEMs in Canada
  • 4 or more years of experience in the Automotive industry with an automotive supplier in the North American market or equivalent experience in the construction, agriculture, forestry, mining commercial vehicle, off-road and work truck segments primarily at the OEM level
  • Comfortable using Salesforce or a similar CRM system to input and analyze sales data
  • Ability to travel as required to client sites, trade shows throughout assigned territory or overseas
