As a Regional Strategic Sales Professional, you will be solely responsible for bringing on new business. You'll articulate and demonstrate complex software solutions, build and maintain senior-level relationships, and navigate across various decision-makers.
Here’s what you’ll be working on:
- Engage clients through new and established relationships, build trust, and enable clients to benefit from Company platform and services
- Develop and maintain senior and executive-level client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
- Develop and manage territory growth east of the Mississippi
- Execute all territory account activities from prospecting and research to closing and connecting the customer with professional services
- National marketing campaigns
- Attending Criminal Justice conferences
- Oversee forecasting, keeping management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion and gathering intelligence on competitor activity
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of demonstrated successful Public Safety/Criminal Justice industry sales and/or consulting, with focus on software, services, platform integration and/or network services (SaaS and cloud experience a plus)
- Mush have a hunter mentality & well accustomed to prospecting & cold calling
- Experience managing long sales cycles and complex selling
- Existing and proven relationships with senior decision-makers within your designated territory
- Proven experience in managing/owning territory for sales and/or consulting engagements
- Experience in creating and executing long-term sales plans
- Ability to clearly and directly articulate complex solution offerings
- Strong technical orientation
- Self-motivated with a can-do approach - “create the solution” philosophy
- Strong attention to detail, creative, open-minded, focused, and highly collaborative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to customers as needed (up to 70% of the time)
