The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory. May manage multiple states within a territory and adjusts sales goals and procedures as appropriate for each territory. Designs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies. Evaluates and implements appropriate new sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. May recommend service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. The RSM will be responsible for driving new oncology business, maintaining customer relationships and meeting and exceeding sales targets for their own territory.
