We’re looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded sales leader with experience in the specialty chemicals or lubricant additives sector. This is a key hire and a genuine career development opportunity for someone ready to step into a future leadership role.

The role:

• Lead and develop the Southern European sales team, driving customer growth, market share, and profitability.
• Translate the EMEAI strategic marketing plan into actionable regional sales strategies.
• Coach and mentor your team under our Counsellor Sales & Account Management Framework.
• Champion account planning, relationship building, opportunity identification and deal execution.
• Work cross functionally with Marketing and the customer technical service team to bring insight driven solutions to customers to stay ahead of market trends.
• Build senior level relationships with key accounts and ensure the team are delivering real value.
• Set clear targets and strategies, managing performance and driving results.
• Support new product introductions and contribute actively to the New Product Development process.
• Manage T&E budgets, staff development, and performance reviews.

You will require:

• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Strategic and tactical thinking with a proven commercial edge.
• Industry knowledge and a broad understanding of market trends.
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and coaching skills.
• Experience working across multiple countries and customer bases.
• A degree in Marketing, Business, or a Technical/Science field.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Additional language skills highly desirable though not essential
