Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, evaluate, and periodically update sales strategies and targets to adapt to changing market conditions and company goals.
- Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships, engaging them through compelling sales presentations that emphasize the unique value of our products.
- Conduct needs analysis to provide clients with tailored product recommendations, enhancing their operational efficiency and satisfaction.
- Negotiate and close deals by providing clients with clear, beneficial contract terms following thorough discussions and proposals.
- Monitor industry trends, product developments, and competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge and anticipate market shifts.
- Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction, addressing and resolving concerns swiftly by liaising with relevant internal teams.
- Provide expert advice on product installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to optimize client experience and product longevity.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities for new product offerings or improvements to existing product lines.
- Coordinate with marketing, production, and R&D teams to ensure a consistent and proactive approach to market demands and client needs.
- Utilize the latest in sales automation tools and techniques for better data management, customer tracking, and communication.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a closely related field with a solid foundation in technical studies.
- Proven experience in sales management—2-3 years in outside sales or 3-5 years in inside sales, preferably related to power transmission or industrial markets.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of constructing and delivering clear, persuasive, and concise proposals and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications and market data for effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or professional certifications in sales management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Electronic Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) or Automation Controls.
- Prior experience within the gearing and reducer industry is highly desirable.
- Technical acumen with a keen interest in industry innovations, product development, and customer service excellence.
