We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to head our dynamic team, driving sales of engineered hydraulic products within heavy industrial sectors such as mining, mineral processing, and drilling. This strategic role involves direct oversight of a multi-state region in the Eastern U.S., with key responsibilities including team leadership, tactical planning, and critical account management. This position offers an exciting opportunity for strong growth potential, providing a pivotal role in achieving the company's ambitious goals.
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000+ per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensively planned strategy that aligns with the company's broader vision.
- Manage and foster the growth of a territory across multiple states, increasing profitability through direct and team efforts.
- Provide thorough training on our product line and services, ensuring the technical competence of all team members.
- Set ambitious performance targets, drive strategic sales initiatives, and support the team in achieving high-performance goals.
- Coordinate and conduct joint sales calls with team members to develop key accounts and secure business deals.
- Offer regular feedback to sales personnel and manage their professional development and career growth.
- Stay updated with industry trends and adapt strategies to meet the changing market landscape and customer needs.
- Travel as needed throughout the region to boost team support and foster client relationships.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Over 10 years of sales or sales management experience within heavy industrial markets.
- Solid background in leading sales teams, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in sales leadership.
- Detailed knowledge of high-pressure hydraulic systems and components.
- Proven track record of successful sales and management achievements.
- Competency in using MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with CNC machining, welding, or chrome plating services.
- Existing relationships with OEMs and MROs in our industry.
- Knowledge of consultative, solution-oriented sales strategies.
