Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Team Vice President of Intermodal of a leading international provider of third-party logistics solutions, supply chain consulting, technology support and transportation services. Services include Lead Logistics Provider (LLP), domestic and international transportation management, warehouse management and consulting. Will be responsible for the development and signing of profitable new business, additional business, and maintaining current accounts. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, pricing, proposal preparation and presentation(s), contract signing, and implementation planning. Drive key factor performance results (lane compliance, flows, revenue per shipment, total revenue, price increases and margin improvement in a targeted selling environment. Develop specific geographic expertise to generate the right revenue at the right time in the right place to balance and expand our network. Challenge is to develop and sign new intermodal and transportation accounts.

Background Required:
  • Inside and Outside Business Development within Transportation Brokerage (2+ years)
  • Mode of transportation (Full Truckload – reefer & dry)
  • Pricing and margin integrity
  • Negotiations
  • Customer development, profitability, & market penetration
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Residence: Glen Rose, Ft. Worth, Dallas, TX
Background Preferred (but not required):

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
