Regional Property Manager

The Opportunity
We are partnering with a real estate organization to identify a Regional Property Manager who will serve as a key leader within the property management function. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on operational leadership, supporting on-site teams while driving financial performance, compliance, and resident satisfaction across a regional portfolio.
Role Overview
The Regional Property Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of multifamily or mixed-use properties within a defined region. This individual will ensure consistent operational execution, strong financial results, and regulatory compliance, while supporting and developing on-site teams and contributing to the long-term success of the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, hire, and support on-site property management teams across multiple communities

Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies

Oversee day-to-day property operations including leasing, maintenance, compliance, and resident relations

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, curb appeal, and operational standards

Partner on marketing and leasing strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue

Monitor financial performance including budgets, rent collections, and expenses

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements

Ensure accurate reporting through property management systems and software

Maintain compliance with fair housing laws, safety regulations, and tenant-landlord requirements

Build strong relationships with residents, internal teams, and ownership or leadership stakeholders
Experience & Qualifications
Required:
-
Proven experience managing multiple residential or mixed-use properties in a regional or multi-site capacity

Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities

Financial management experience including budgeting, reporting, and cost analysis

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software platforms

Solid knowledge of housing laws, industry standards, and property operations best practices
Required:

5–10 years of progressive property management experience
-
CAM certification or equivalent (or ability to obtain)

Demonstrated experience working with affordable housing programs, including LIHTC
