Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Global Head of Key Account Management for NA for one of the world’s largest and most innovative integrated logistics organizations. Our client has a dedicated team of 80.000+ employees operating in 130 countries helping to enable global trade in a growing world.
The Regional Head, Supply Chain Development will manage and develop a NAM & LAM Regional Supply Chain Development (SCD) team, which will primarily support solution sales for key clients by deploying consultative selling skills to identify opportunities and build compelling tailored value propositions. Will manage an effective engagement model with other internal stakeholders (regional & area leadership, sales, products, customer experience) in region and be the point person for selected focus vertical. Will enable development of team capabilities, toolkits and culture to setup scalable model for the future and build a team culture of thought leadership, collaboration & best practice sharing.

Background Required:
  • Significant commercial experience within the logistics or supply chain sector (8+ years)
  • Sales leadership & team building (3 years)
  • Developing complex supply chain solutions
  • Knowledge of NAM & LAM regional markets
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Customer-centric approach to growing revenues with target customers
  • Ability to run customer workshops to identify needs & tailor value propositions
  • Ability to travel domestic & international up to 50%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent experience
  • Residence: greater NY/NJ area (relocation assistance provided)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • CSCP certification
  • Advanced Degree: MBA
