Purpose/Summary:
As a Regional Business Development Executive (RBDE) within the fire vertical, you will be
responsible for delivering consistent, YOY revenue, margin growth, and increased market share within
assigned geographical area within the fire segment specializing in PPE and other fire life saving products.
You will negotiate long-term and repeatable contracts with as the primary supplier. A valued
partner by customers and an expert in building profitable and efficient customer purchasing models.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
 Responsible for a new segment anchored in Fire and Fire PPE products
 Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for sales goals in defined
geography
 Schedules and makes face to face regular calls to prospective new business opportunities
 Travel expectation is 4 field-based selling days and 1 office day per week
 Effectively communicates with RAE (outside sales) on seamless customer handoff’s on closed
business
 Provides regular input to sales leadership for strategic planning, sales forecasting, and core
process improvements from customer feedback
 Plans and participates in the development and delivery of all presentations to prospective
customers
 Organizes, sets-up and attends any necessary client and/or industry trade shows
 Maintains all prospect information including pipeline and appointments within the company
CRM
 Obtains competitive intelligence and stays current on market trends and industry developments
along with the capabilities, vulnerabilities, and intentions of relevant business competitors
 Maintains strong working relationships with key vendor representatives with a goal of increasing
sales in all product categories
 Works collaboratively and uses support from inside business development team and Sales
Management to develop and execute strategy and sales plan

WHAT YOU BRING
 3-5 years direct sales experience
 Previous focus for New Business Acquisition, Account Management, Account Executive positions
 Bachelor's Degree or Relevant Industries: Sales, Business, and/or related field preferred
 Proficient at desktop computer use and appropriate applications
 Knowledge and proficiency at CRM, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
 Ability to address customer needs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
 Familiarity with, and willingness to navigate, bureaucratic organizations, with an ability to
uncover, engage and close business with multiple stakeholders
 Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
 Ability to communicate technical information, handle questions and recommend solutions
in a professional manner
 Ability to solve problems under pressure
 In-depth knowledge of customer ordering procedures and internal processes
 Superb organization and prioritization skills
 Impeccable attention to detail
 Strong initiative and follow-through to close new business opportunities
 Personal motivation to continue improving
 Willingness to maintain robust and current GQ record of network and activities
 GQ and Zendesk system proficiency
