A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
As a Regional Account Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop new accounts and grow existing accounts by creating opportunities and strategies within your assigned region. You will also coordinate client relationship opportunities such as proposals, budgets, customer service, and work orders. You will lead and encourage the workforce in the joint effort to reach sales goals and customer satisfaction and coordinate with head office staff and management to resolve any account issues or concerns.
This a full-time remote position that works Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Ideally you reside in the Peace Region.
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?
Ideal Candidates will have:
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a sales and/or agronomy sector of agriculture
- Knowledge and understanding of crop production and agronomy with nutrition experience
- Ability to achieve or exceed attainable sales goals
- High commitment to customer service and satisfaction
- Great understanding of agriculture industry, farming methods, trends in the industry and the dynamic nature of the market
- Proven excellence in the method of selling and launching products or services
- The ability to reach out to new contacts and maintain positive relationships with them
You are able to work independently, be self-motivated and results driven, with excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical thinking skills and excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. You are motivated and have a positive personality, solid organization skills and detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. You are a collaborative team member and possess a valid driver’s license and passport to travel to the US.
