Reference Laboratory Sales Specialist

We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Reference Laboratory Sales Specialist to join our growing commercial team. This individual will be responsible for selling innovative diagnostic products directly into reference laboratories, including large independent reference labs, national lab networks, and specialty reference labs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a territory of reference laboratory accounts
  • Drive new business development and grow existing account revenue
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lab directors, medical directors, and procurement decision-makers
  • Present and demonstrate products and their clinical value to laboratory stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing and scientific affairs teams to support product positioning
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of medical or diagnostics sales experience, with direct reference laboratory sales strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field
  • Strong understanding of clinical laboratory operations and workflows
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel 50-75% within assigned territory
