Position Summary
Responsible for the sourcing, interviewing and qualifying candidates to fill entry-level or intermediate positions for our clients and manage the files of the workforce on assignment. Manage/lead special recruitment projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Create and advertise job postings on external and internal websites
- Conduct extensive searches using both our internal database and online tools to develop a longlist of candidates
- Conduct phones screen of longlisted candidates
- Schedule and conduct structured interview (in person or virtual)
- Mentoring, managing Junior staff
- Ensuring at all times compliance to labour standards and non-discrimination
- Assess attributes and skills through a variety of techniques
- Prepare a summary of each candidate interviewed, assessing their strengths, weaknesses, interests and objectives.
- Submit qualified candidates to Account Manager
- Prepare and coach candidates prior to interviews and conduct a follow up after
- Manage/ lead on special projects assigned by Account Manager
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
- 3+ years agency or corporate recruiting experience (high volume)
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency (MSOffice and Internet skills)
- An entrepreneurial spirit, a drive to succeed
- Extremely organized with Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer/client service focus
- Ability to handle confidential data and work in sometimes ambiguous circumstances
- Previous recruitment experience in banking or financial services an Asset
- Previous experience in Retail, Call Centre, Hospitality an Asset
- Previous experience working with ATS systems an Asset
- Bilingual (French & English) an Asset
