Life Benefit Solutions, a Division of People Corporation, is a Group Insurance & Retirement Broker servicing Indigenous employers across Canada. We specialize in designing programs that support the unique needs of Indigenous and non-Indigenous employees and employers.

We are adding a Receptionist/Office Administrator to our growing team of enthusiastic high achievers dedicated to creating a positive client experience. The individual in this role will actively contribute to the success of Life Benefit Solutions by providing administrative support and reception duties.

This role is fully onsite.

What you will do:

  • Manage reception (phone calls, receiving mail, courier), and being director of first impressions for
    anyone coming to our office. This means, ensuring that an excellent standard of service and a high
    level of client satisfaction is maintained as the first point of contact in our office.
  • Provide administrative support to group benefit inquiries and client requests in conjunction with the
    service coordinators
  • Provide administration support to the retirement transition team with client inquiries
  • You will handle incoming client inquiries as needed related to Group Insurance/Pension, misc.
    administration related projects/tasks, misc. office duties. If necessary, you will engage the dedicated
    service representative if need be.
  • Troubleshooting and responding to client inquiries in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Scanning and processing incoming / outgoing forms and handling administrative requests.
  • Working with your team, you will take a solution-based approach to client inquiries and engage the
    appropriate members of our team to assist in resolving and answering client questions or concerns.
  • Ordering office supplies as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience working with MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
