Radiology Tech

As a Radiology Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services that support accurate diagnosis and treatment, contributing to the overall mission of providing accessible, reliable, and empathetic care to all patients.

Location: This role will be on site in Larium, MI. Consideration for relocation assistance for those not residing in this area.

Schedule: Day and Night shifts available with 7 shifts on and 7 shifts off.

Focus:

  • Conduct radiographic procedures in compliance with established imaging protocols.
  • Prepare patients for imaging exams, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images for physician review.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and report any malfunctions promptly.

Skill Set:

  • Completion of a radiography program accredited by an approved radiography school.
  • Associate degree in Radiography (or equivalent).
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Active Radiographer licensure for the State of Wisconsin (required for Wisconsin locations).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Previous experience in a radiology or imaging services role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic standards and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting.
