Our client is a 25 bed Critical Access not for profit hospital centrally located in California. Minutes to wine country and over 300 wineries!
Experience working in a flat organization with no more than 2 people in between you and the CEO at any time quick decisions and the ability to make an impact without corporate approval. Work with patients in a quaint community from cradle to grave and get to know them as more than just a number!
Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physicians and radiologists. He/she will individualize patient care based upon the age appropriate and developmental needs. Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Takes call as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Licensing Requirements:
- Current State of California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license - required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification - required
- Current ARRT certification and registration - required
- California Venipuncture Certificate - within 3 months of signing job description
- California Fluoroscopy Certificate - within 6 months of signing job description
- Experience in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
- CT experience is preferred
- Demonstrated competence in all areas of hospital diagnostic radiological technology procedures
