Salary: $60,195 - $80,952 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures on a diverse patient demographic, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Assess and evaluate the diagnostic quality of the produced images, utilizing your expertise to adjust protocols for optimal results.
  • Maintain stringent adherence to safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation for both patients and staff.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in routine maintenance checks and calibration of radiology equipment to ensure functional and accurate performance.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff and participate in educational opportunities to stay abreast of evolving industry practices.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely completion of all imaging and procedural documentation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
  • Licensure by the State of Ohio in Radiology.
  • Proficiency in operating complex radiologic equipment under dynamic clinical conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and maneuver equipment as necessary, adhering to all ergonomic and safety standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of empathetic patient interactions and effective team collaborations.
  • High standard of professional ethics and a commitment to patient privacy and care excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in pediatric, emergency, or trauma radiography preferred.
  • Advanced certifications in multiple radiologic modalities valued.
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting, especially within a high-acuity or teaching hospital.
  • Demonstrated ability in patient positioning and protocol optimization for various examinations.

  • Detailed knowledge of anatomy, radiology techniques, and patient positioning.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to evaluate scans and assist in diagnosis.
