Radiologic Technologist – Cross-Training Available

Pay: $26.54–$39.82 per hour

Position Overview

A respected community hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. This is an excellent opportunity for an imaging professional looking to expand their skills: candidates with multiple modality certifications are welcome, and cross-training may be available in CT, MRI, or Mammography.

Additional compensation is available for qualifying for additional modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures safely and accurately
• Provide essential technical services within the Diagnostic Imaging Department
• Work independently with minimal supervision from the radiologist
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate imaging equipment according to established procedures and safety standards
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Confirm patient identity and explain procedures clearly and compassionately
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
• Follow radiation-safety, infection-prevention, and patient-safety protocols
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, providers, and other clinical team members
• Participate in cross-training for CT, MRI, or Mammography when applicable

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or registry eligible
• Current Wisconsin radiographer license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient-service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous radiologic technology or related imaging experience
• Certification in CT, MRI, or Mammography
• Dual-modality or multimodality imaging experience

Schedule

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week
• Flexible starting-time options
• Rotating weekend coverage approximately every four weeks
• Weekend shifts may begin at 7:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.
• Holiday coverage approximately one or two times per year
• Holiday shifts may begin at 7:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., or 11:00 p.m.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range is $26.54–$39.82 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for qualifying modality certifications. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, credentials, qualifications, and other job-related considerations.
