Regional Vice President, Business Development
Are you a seasoned sales professional eager for a new challenge in an industry that truly makes a difference? We're seeking a Regional Vice President of Business Development to join and drive significant growth by building relationships with leading healthcare providers.
This isn't about pushing products; it's about designing and selling bespoke, integrated marketing strategies that meet our clients' unique business objectives. You'll work directly with our President and CEO, making a direct and meaningful impact on the organization's growth, all while enjoying uncapped commission and the opportunity to cultivate a substantial book of business. This role is crucial as we expand our footprint.

What You'll Do:
As a key player in our growth, you'll be responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying targets to closing complex deals:
• Drive Revenue Growth: Close 5+ large deals annually with named healthcare providers, focusing on enterprise-level engagements. You'll primarily focus on selling bespoke service offerings at the enterprise level, with an average deal size of $250k+ in net revenue (excluding media spend).
• Strategic Prospecting: Identify sales targets and build organized prospecting plans to establish new relationships with marketing decision-makers at large healthcare providers.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and applying True North's capabilities to create impactful marketing solutions. You'll be adept at navigating internal buyers around deal momentum and building strong rapport with CMOs and executive-level decision-makers.
• Solution Selling: Design and present integrated marketing strategies that connect prospects with their audiences in meaningful and effective ways. This includes selling complex digital marketing solutions like SEO, email marketing, patient acquisition campaigns, and content strategies. You'll articulate our unique story and how we differentiate ourselves at the enterprise level.
• Deal Management: Thoughtfully manage the buying journey with high attention to detail, an appropriate sense of urgency, and accurate forecasting. You'll negotiate and close 6 to 7-figure new business opportunities, understanding the intricacy of the deal and where our true north offering fits. You'll also be skilled at navigating RFPs through the procurement process.
• Market & Performance Marketing Expertise: Act as a thought leader in performance marketing and digital marketing within the healthcare space, demonstrating deep industry immersion. You'll be able to speak at events and show familiarity with consumer behavior trends in healthcare, and how integrated marketing strategies drive engagement and conversions.
• Team Collaboration: Handle "blocking and tackling" in the mid-market, allowing our top seller to focus on more senior initiatives.

What You'll Bring:
• Proven Sales Acumen: A minimum of 5 years of healthcare or marketing sales experience with a demonstrated ability to identify targets, set meetings with key decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and close significant deals. You're a true "hunter" with a curious nature and a proactive commitment to customer service and problem-solving.
• Healthcare & Marketing Expertise: Must have marketing and/or agency experience, specifically selling to the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of complex digital marketing solutions. Experience within a SaaS marketing ecosystem is a plus.
• Strategic Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform and present in high-pressure situations. You're articulate, thorough, and concise, capable of building a great deal with CMOs and executive-level contacts.
• Self-Motivation: An energetic, determined, flexible, self-motivated, strategic, organized, and inquisitive personality.
• Technical Familiarity: Familiarity with CRM and automation tools.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, finance, economics, or a related field.
