RVP of Operations - California
Job Description
Position Summary
We are recruiting a highly experienced Regional Vice President of Operations to lead parking and valet operations throughout California for an established, family-owned parking operator. This executive-level role drives operational excellence, financial performance, client satisfaction, and team development across a multi-site hotel and hospitality portfolio. The RVP serves as both a strategic and hands-on leader, ensuring alignment with service standards, operational policies, and business objectives while navigating California's unique labor, regulatory, and market environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Provide executive oversight for all parking and valet operations across the California region
- Ensure consistent implementation of operational standards, policies, and procedures
- Conduct regular site visits to assess service quality, safety, staffing levels, and operational efficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on service delivery, safety, and performance
- Support new site launches, transitions, and operational integrations
New Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and secure new hotel parking management opportunities in the western US
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective hotel partners through industry relationships, referrals, and targeted outreach
- Lead contract negotiations and pricing strategy in collaboration with senior leadership
- Partner with hotel ownership groups, asset managers, and management companies to identify expansion opportunities
- Represent the company at hospitality and real estate industry events and conferences
Financial & Business Performance
- Own and manage regional P&L including budgets, forecasts, labor controls, and expense management
- Analyze operational and financial reports to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure accurate labor planning and payroll compliance
People Leadership & Talent Development
- Directly lead, coach, and develop Area Directors of Operations and other regional leaders
- Establish performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and implement corrective action as needed
- Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and succession planning for key roles
- Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, safety, and professional development
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the senior operational point of contact for key clients and property partners
- Proactively address escalated client concerns and operational challenges
- Represent the company at client meetings, site reviews, and industry events
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations
- Prior experience in parking, hospitality, transportation, or service-based operations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success managing large, geographically dispersed teams
- Proven P&L management experience
- Working knowledge of California labor and employment regulations preferred

Compensation
- Competitive Base Salary plus annual performance-based bonus; weighted across revenue, retention, and new business
- Monthly Car Allowance: $1,000
Work Environment & Travel
- In-office role based in Los Angeles, CA
- Frequent in-state travel to managed properties throughout California
- Occasional travel to corporate headquarters (out of state; quarterly)
