Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the sales executive for a regional transportation provider.

The RVP Sales is a hunter who works who expands transportation offerings to new accounts (new logos). Builds & generates individual sales that will meet and exceed revenue targets, increase profitability, and build lasting relationships with customers. The goal is to identify and drive top-line logo acquisition within a given region to generate sales and integrate effective strategies that maximize business outcomes. Utilizes core tools to track data, build reports and provide visualizations to share with customers and internal teams for the purpose of continuous growth and improvement. Utilizes leadership skills to inspire and motivate growth of accounts and build brand loyalty. The challenge is to develop high-level service offering, optimize costs, increase revenues, and maximize profitability.

Background Required:
  • Truckload Sales (5 years)
  • Proven hunter sales mentality
  • Track record of selling profitable new business / new logos
  • Time & territory management reporting process
  • Pricing logic & analysis
  • Computer literate: Microsoft (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook)
  • Residence Dallas, TX (home office environment)
Background Preferred (but not required):
  • Operations
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (i.e., Supply Chain, Logistics or Transportation)
