The Role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager – Central U.S. to drive new business across critical infrastructure clients, with a focus on state & local government, oil & gas, and utilities. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle enterprise sales: prospecting, pipeline development, consultative selling, and closing large-scale technology deals.

This role requires a hunter mentality, the ability to navigate complex organizations, and experience selling into public sector or industrial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on critical infrastructure clients in the Central U.S.

  • Drive net-new revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and closing enterprise accounts.

  • Manage complex sales cycles, from discovery and technical presentations to proposal development and contract negotiation.

  • Partner with marketing, solutions engineering, and customer success to ensure strong customer outcomes.

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with decision-makers across state/local government, oil & gas, and utility sectors.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales quotas.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in SaaS, AI, data analytics, drone technology, or geospatial solutions.

  • Proven success selling into state & local government, energy, oil & gas, or utilities.

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and driving multi-million-dollar pipelines.

  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and executive presence.

  • Comfortable working remotely while managing a large geographic territory (Central U.S.).
