Our client is a 550 Bed nonprofit hospital located near Atlanta GA.  They provide a wide array of high-quality services and facilities to the area, and were recently recognized as the top large hospital in Georgia by Georgia Trend.  They utilize top technologies and are a level II trauma center.

The Surgical Services RN is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Periop RN provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Operating Room Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Surgery. The Operating Room RN is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the that area. The Perioperative Nurse communicates with the physician about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The Surgical Services RN is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

·        BSN required

·        Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care surgical setting

·        BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
