RN Manager, Intermediate / Progressive Care Unit – Pathway to Excellence Designated Non-Profit Community Hospital - West Virginia

Join our 150+ bed, non-profit community hospital as a Nurse Manager, Intermediate / Progressive Care Unit! Lead a 36-bed unit with a team of 40+ nursing professionals in a Pathway to Excellence designated hospital. About the Hospital:

The Role:

  • Lead and manage a 36-bed Cardiac Stepdown unit, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and operational excellence
  • Oversee patients from CCU, ICU, and a wide variety of medical conditions (NSTEMIs, GI bleeds, cancers, etc.)

  • Manage a unit that is almost always at or near capacity, ensuring smooth operations

  • Address night shift staffing needs, currently staffed mainly by travelers, and work to attract and retain staff

  • Work with Clinical Coordinators on both day and night shifts and collaborate on improving patient care

  • Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and staff engagement

  • Address staffing needs, especially for the night shift, and attract top talent

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

  • 3+ years’ clinical nursing experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Cardiac ICU, Coronary Care, or Progressive Care inpatient settings

  • Strong leadership skills - should be a collaborative and inspirational leader who RN's gravitate toward and want to follow

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to $120,000 annually, based on experience
