Our client Comprehensive Community Cancer Program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and they are an American College of Radiology accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
Job Description:
The Director of Cardiovascular Services assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the Cardiac Cath Lab, Special Procedures, Electrophysiology, Pre/Post Holding Unit and staff to assure quality service on a 24-hour basis. The Director of Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the staff performance and the accomplishment of department responsibilities in accord with corporate, hospital, department, and safe policies and procedures to meet both company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for providing high-quality patient care to and acting as liaison with patients and their representatives, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management, and for the efficient operation of the department and optimum use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- MUST HAVE Director level experience.
- Progressive hospital management – minimum of three years management experience as a department leadership in a high volume cardiac cath lab. Must have clinical experience in cardiac cath lab, electrophysiology, angiography and recovery unit.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).
