  • Position will manage Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Special Care, and Nursery
  • Position reports to a dynamic and collaborative Chief Nursing Officer
  • Well supported by a Nurse Manager and team of Coordinators/Charge Nurses

About the RN Director, Women's and Infants (RN) Position:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Labor and Delivery or Women's Services leader who is seeking to take the next step in their career and join a growing team that is focused on providing the safest and highest quality care to its patients. In this role, you will provide the strategic direction for the service line, ensure safe, compassionate care is provided to the community, oversee the day to day operations of the unit, develop goals and objectives for your team, ensure the hospital's mission, vision and values are met, maintain performance improvement and compliance with regulatory agencies, and participate in budget/fiscal management. The Director will be well-supported by a Manager and team of Coordinators who will assist with day to day operations. Position open to last Director's retirement.

Qualifications & Requirements for RN Director, Women's and Infants (RN):

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required / Master's preferred
  • RN Active License
  • At least five (5) years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • At least three (3) years Labor and Delivery or Women's Services leadership experience (Manager level or above)
  • Effective team builder who is able to engage the staff and build physician relationships
  • Serve as a liaison with internal and external customers
  • Collaborative, team building personality style
