About the Hospital and Department:
- Hospital: Well-loved community hospital with a 13 bed ED that treats over 16,000 ED patients annually
- The Nursing Director Emergency (ER) will be very well supported by a team of 25 FTE's including a Department Educator and team of Charge Nurses
- Reports directly to a dynamic and transformational Chief Nursing Officer

About the RN Director, Emergency (ER) Position:
Primary responsibilities will include the strategic and visionary oversight of the department, building collaborative relationships with hospital leadership and physicians, maintaining and improving key performance indicators, serving as a mentor to the nursing team, and ensuring the highest level of patient care is provided consistently.
Qualifications & Requirements for the RN Director, Emergency (ER):
- BSN required / Master's preferred
- Active RN License Virginia
- 5+ years clinical ER nursing experience
- 2+ years of ER leadership experience at the Manager level or above (similar size or larger ED)
- Must have a demonstrated track record of success in ER leadership
- Should possess excellent communication skills across all levels
- Collaborative, team building personality style
