RN Clinical Manager - ICU/ER

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Clinical Manager to lead our ICU and ER departments at our Manteca, CA location. This critical role involves providing leadership, ensuring excellent patient care quality, managing department operations, and enhancing the professional development and competence of nursing staff. Salary: $135,000 - $165,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director in leading the Emergency and Intensive Care Services Departments, focusing on clinical quality, financial management, and human resources optimization.
  • Develop and evaluate nursing personnel to ensure the unit operates effectively and care standards are maintained or surpassed.
  • Implement and evaluate plans to meet patient care and organizational objectives, fostering an environment of safety and compliance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship activities to advance the peer education framework and create a continuous learning environment.
  • Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to align department objectives with hospital goals, promote best practices, and innovative care delivery models.
  • Maintain personal development of skills and knowledge with direct clinical involvement and advanced patient care management.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.A./B.S)
  • Active California R.N. license
  • Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire
  • PALS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum five years of clinical experience in an intensive care or emergency department setting
  • Ability to provide proficient, safe nursing care to a diverse range of patient populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of managerial experience in a healthcare setting
  • Advanced certifications related to critical care and emergency nursing (CCRN, CEN, etc.)
  • Experience in initiating and leading departmental projects aimed at quality improvement and operational efficiency
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively
  • Exceptional skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities
