Northern California Critical Access Hospital New Skilled Nursing Facility
A highly respected Critical Access Hospital in beautiful Northern California is launching a brand-new Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and is seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the founding team.
This is a unique opportunity for an RN to step into a high-impact role at the ground level of a newly developed Skilled Nursing Facility. Nurses will have direct visibility, meaningful input, and the chance to help shape patient care standards, workflows, and culture from day one.
We are hiring for swing shift, and night shift positions. Night shift nurses are eligible for a generous $10/hour shift differential in addition to competitive base pay.

Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect resident care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care services in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate resident care while supporting quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
RN Duties Include:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and collect resident health data

Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and accurately

Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans

Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status

Coordinate admission, discharge, and transfer procedures

Participate in interdisciplinary care team conferences (IDT)

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals

Provide resident and family education regarding care plans and treatment goals

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Support infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives

Deliver compassionate care while respecting resident dignity, cultural diversity, and individuality
RN Qualifications
Required Experience:
-
Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Med-Surg, Rehab, Acute Care, or Hospital nursing experience preferred
Education & Licensure:
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Current CPR/BLS certification required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment

Experience administering medications and interpreting diagnostic information

Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Commitment to patient-centered care and positive resident outcomes
