Product Development Manager
Job Description
Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer of prepared foods serving retail, foodservice, K-12, co-manufacturing, and private label customers, is creating its first dedicated Product Development role. As the company continues to grow, they are bringing product development in-house and are seeking a hands-on professional to support new product innovation, commercialization, and customer-driven development across a diverse portfolio of prepared foods.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales, this is a highly collaborative role that bridges food science, manufacturing, and customer collaboration. You'll partner closely with Sales, Operations, QA, Procurement, and customers to take products from concept through commercialization while helping solve real customer challenges and bringing new ideas to market.
What You'll Do

Develop new products from concept through commercialization.

Create bench-top prototypes, support plant trials, and improve existing formulations.

Partner directly with customers to develop commercially viable food solutions.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure products scale successfully into manufacturing.
