Quality Officer

Overview
The QUALITY OFFICER is expected to lead on the execution of routine quality assurance and control initiatives which support the efforts of the Production & Retail Teams in the efficient delivery of quality products at the Facility. The Quality Officer ensures adherence to established Food Safety and Quality Standards by all staff.

Work Schedule

• Shift Structure: 8-hour shifts.
• Roster: 5 working days followed by 2 days off.
• Shift Times: 5am-1pm, 1pm-9pm, 9pm-5am.

Location

• El Socorro, South.

Compensation

• Salary range based on experience: $7,000 - $9,500

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain food safety and quality management systems, including inspections, audits, and traceability controls.
• Manage non-conformances, initiate corrective actions, and resolve customer complaints.
• Conduct internal and external food safety and quality audits.
• Support HACCP, OSHE, and other quality program initiatives.
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and reduce operational waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• BSc in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field (MSc preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or service.
• Proficiency in HACCP, GMP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
