Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Northwest Ohio

Summary

CDP Solutions has been retained to identify a Quality Manager for our client located in Northwest, Ohio. The Quality Manager must be a visible leader and active participant in driving zero injuries. It is expected that the Quality Manager will be responsible for engaging all team members, while improving customer satisfaction, process controls, and reduction in waste. The Quality Manager will have (5) direct reports and (20) indirect reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned that pertain to this classification.

• Be a visible example of safety leadership
• Manage the entire quality program
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology in the implementation of manufacturing excellence initiatives
• Manage the Plant Quality Supervisors & Quality Lab and quality technicians. (5) Direct Reports & (20) Indirect Reports
• Trouble shoot process issues with an eye toward systematic improvements.
• Train and supervise staff

Education / Experience:

• BS. in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing
• Proven track record and working knowledge in manufacturing industry.
• Must have had demonstrated experience leading or being part of a plant audit in ISO 9001 or AS 9100

Knowledge:

• Quality- Quality System at expert level
• Lean / Continuous Improvement - Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, Six sigma
• Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Relocation: Yes, relocation support to the market

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000

Bonus: $10,000 - $15,000

Annual Compensation: $140,000 - $165,000
