Quality Manager

Pay:
$50,000-65,000 /year

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week, flexible start time between 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management
  • Working understanding of Data Analysis/Statistical methods
  • Expert Microsoft Office user
Nice to see:
  • Certification in Quality Control (ISO9000:2015, ISO9001:2015, ISO 13485 etc.)
  • A Technical University Degree or College Diploma
  • Manufacturing concepts: Six Sigma, Lean Mfg (5S)

An innovate company catering to Consumer, Industrial, Automotive, Medical, Defense/Military sectors by providing them cost-efficient manufacturing is seeking a seasoned Quality Control Manager. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and is fully ISO 9001:2015 and Medical 13485 registered to adhere to their diverse clientele.

Job responsibilities:
  • Have a sound understanding of customer requirements and develop a strategic plan to maintain quality control process
  • Maintain a healthy professional relationship with customers by assessing if their conditions are fulfilled and relay the feedback via executive summary
  • Liaison between stakeholders and the Executive team with an ability to be concise and articulate on quality issues and present all proposed resolutions during the discussion
  • Set expectations for quality of raw material or intermediate product from suppliers, monitor to make sure they are compliant and initiate corrective actions as required
  • Lead a team of Quality Inspectors, Technicians, and other team members, providing clear and concise direction
  • Observe the production and identify any deviations from the required quality standards
  • Work with the internal Engineering team and production departments to provide feedback and set best practices
  • Log crucial data and perform statistical analysis
  • Provide detailed reports to the Executive team
  • Have the vision to innovate and better the current process and follow upcoming market trends

Quality Manager will be primarily responsible for supervising activities of your team and lead by example. The individual should possess strong leadership skills, develop quality strategies and execute a plan to support a variety of products within the Electronic Contract Manufacturing (EMS) environment. Liaison between the clients and stakeholders, the quality of products and service needs to be held in the highest regard.
