An automotive components manufacturer based on tool and die and metal stamping seeks a hands-on Quality Manager. Experience in the metal stamping process is ideal.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Quality, Industrial, or related Engineering
• Minimum of 3-10 years Quality management experience in automotive components manufacturing setting
• Significant experience in recognized quality systems (ISO, TS, QMS).
• Experience with PPAP and related duties
• Corrective actions, continuous improvement & customer/subcontractor relations
• Quality Systems knowledge of TS16949/IS09001/ISO14001

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven track record of building and managing a QA team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior organizational abilities a must.
• Ability to execute many complex tasks simultaneously with changing priorities
• Proficiency in inspection techniques, CMM programming and management of a metrology laboratory
• PC based computing experience (MS Office, Minitab, Datamyte, etc)
• Training certifications (CQE, CQA, RAB) desirable
