Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop timelines for quality related activities on new product launches and monitor progress
• Evaluate Scrap Reports, RMA’s, and Defect Trackers to initiate CAR’s proactively
• Evaluate root causes and develop formal CAR solutions with cross functional groups
• Customer communication regarding quality requirements, approvals, and issues
• Collaborate with customers on quality requirements, specifications, and approval requirements
• Schedule Quality resources efficiently and effectively to meet internal/external needs
• Develop, coach, and hold Quality staff accountable to performance and company policies
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5+ years of experience in machining, foundry, or injection molding
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements with minimal interruption of normal workflow
• Excellent time management skills, problem solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing documents such as prints, instruction manuals, process sheets, work instructions, and safety documents
