Will train on 1st shift M-F 7:30am-4pm, then move to 2nd shift M-F 3pm-11:30pm

Job Duties:

  • Inspects materials, parts, and products at internal and external receipt including different stages of production as well as from outside processing operations.
  • Records observations, certificates of conformance, may provide first article inspection support
  • Create NCR’s if parts are Nonconforming
  • Ensure work orders and parts from outside processing are inspected appropriately, matched, and sent for final operations.
  • Inspection of Sealing, Electrical Bonding, Part Configuration, Detail part orientation, final assembly to blueprint requirements
  • Inspection of shot peen parts, chemical process, painted parts to specifications and blue print requirements
  • Other Duties Assigned by Leadership

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work on a team as well as independently.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret blue prints, general procedures and government regulations.
  • Must be able to interpret and understand OEM specifications
  • Knowledge of measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, calipers, height gages, Isoscope etc.)
