Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Operator - Final Inspector to work on-site with our client, a top-tier technology company in Santa Rosa, CA.
This is a contract position that will see the ideal candidate working alongside industry leading talent in a world-class environment. This is a swing or day shift position.

The Quality Inspector will provide technical and logistical support for the manufacturing department in the testing and measurement of optical thin film parts. Will work within manufacturing processes and perform detailed measurements using optical metrology equipment. Will follow established policies, processes, guidelines, and methods to accomplish work in a fast paced manufacturing organization. Other duties as assigned.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Accomplish tasks with minimum supervision

  • Ability to work overtime, if required

  • Utilize machine and/or hand tools

  • Accomplish tasks in accordance with OSHA, 5S, and ISO 9001-2008 standards.

  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.


  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Prefer experience working with spectrophotometers.

  • Basic computer skills (standard business software)

  • Work within a team environment

  • Work with direct supervisor

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Strong work ethic displaying consistent dependability, reliability, and initiative

  • Microsoft Excel and other office applications

  • Proficiency in mathematics and scientific principles/units

  • Use of optical thin film test equipment and protocols

  • Must be able to lift/carry equipment up to 50 lbs

  • Will stand 70% of time (varies within the department)

  • Will sit 30% of time (varies within the department

  • Will reach with hands & arms

  • Will stoop & kneel

  • Good eye/hand coordination

  • Temperature is moderate within work environment

  • The noise level in the manufacturing environment is moderate, but occasionally can be loud.

The work must be done on-site, so telecommuting will not be possible. Principals only; no third parties or off-shore companies.
