Quality Inspector
Position Summary
Seeking a detail-orientated and experienced Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards for our customers. You will be responsible to conduct inspections and tests to ensure part conformity and identify non-conformities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Perform 1st part operational buyoffs for shop floor.
Receive/Inspect all incoming processing and outside production orders.
Perform final part inspection on all outbound orders.
Proficient with measuring tools. (calipers, micrometers, height gauge, etc.)
Completion of internal NCR’s and dispositions.
Verifies part mark for correctness, legibility and location when applicable.
Ensures all certifications are correct and legible.
Ability to inspect and understand part assembly requirements.
Understanding of tracking calibration of company tools traceable back to NIST.
Create and review customer FAIR’s conforming to AS9102 requirements.
Familiar with CATIA 3D CAD Software.
Creation of blueprints using Catia software
Can operate ROMER Arm/CMM with a basic knowledge of PC-DMIS.
Required Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalent.
2 years of quality experience in the aircraft industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
