Quality Inspector

About the Company:

Our client is an established manufacturer of PCB-level RF/EMI shielding for electronic devices of all kinds. They are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join their team!

Responsibilities:

• Use basic measurement devices such as Vernier caliper and micrometer,
• Inspect parts to drawing specifications using inspection tools and flag issues and non conformities
• Perform high quantity inspection tasks
• Read engineering drawings
• Inspection and monitoring of production/packaging quality by conducting visual inspection and by measurements as per manufacturing directions and packaging standards
• Inspect production lines to ensure they meet the approved quality standards, communicate non-conforming quality to Line Operators and Production Supervisors in order to correct it
• Recommend quality improvements and changes to improve finished product quality
• Ensure non-conforming material is properly identified and reported in a timely manner.
• Other duties assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have good hand/eye co-ordination
• Possess a high attention to detail
• Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day along with extended periods of sitting
• Must be a team player and willing to work alongside and help other shop employees
• Reliable and Punctual
• Access to reliable transportation
