  • Lean manufacturing (Six Sigma Green Belt, APQP, PPAP, 8D, 5 WHY, Fishbone, or similar)
  • Display strong communication and documentation skills
  • Automotive Quality Exposure: (ISO 9001_2015, 9001_2008, 14000, TS16949) (1+ years)
  • Demonstrate ability to exercise necessary cost control measures
  • First aid skills and/or certificates
  • Familiar with HVAC systems or Automotive Manufacturing

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Have a sound understanding of customer requirements and develop a strategic plan to maintain quality control process
  • Maintain a healthy professional relationship with customers by assessing if their conditions are fulfilled and relay the feedback via executive summary
  • Liaison between stakeholders and the Executive team with an ability to be concise and articulate on quality issues and present all proposed resolutions during the discussion
  • Set expectations for quality of raw material or intermediate product from suppliers, monitor to make sure they are compliant and initiate corrective actions as required
  • Lead a team of Quality Inspectors, Technicians, and other team members, providing clear and concise direction
  • Observe the production and identify any deviations from the required quality standards
  • Work with the internal Engineering team and production departments to provide feedback and set best practices
  • Log crucial data and perform statistical analysis
  • Provide detailed reports to the Executive team
  • Have the vision to innovate and better the current process and follow upcoming market trends

The Quality Control Manager will be primarily responsible for supervising the activities of your team and lead by example. The individual should possess strong leadership skills, develop quality strategies and execute a plan to support a variety of products within the Electronic Contract Manufacturing (EMS) environment. Liaison between the clients and stakeholders, the quality of products and service needs to be held in the highest regard.
