Quality Engineer II
Location: San Gabriel Valley
Schedule: 4/10 Workweek (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)
Salary Range: $88,000 - $117,000

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a Quality Engineer II and play a key role in ensuring product and process excellence.

We’re seeking a driven Quality Engineer with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement. You’ll help shape and enforce quality standards, support compliance with government and industry regulations, and drive process improvements across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and control processes

• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into work instructions and quality plans

• Conduct failure investigations and lead root cause/corrective action (RCCA) efforts

• Support MRB processes and review/approve engineering drawings per GD&T (ANSI/ASME Y14.5M-2009)

• Review material certifications, test reports, inspection data, and supplier documentation

• Ensure proper flow-down of customer quality requirements to suppliers

• Participate in internal audits and assist with external audits

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline

• Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment

• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards

• Familiarity with government contract requirements

• Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications, including GD&T

• Strong understanding of inspection methods and quality assurance tools

Additional Information:

This position offers a standard 4/10 schedule. Flexibility is a plus—there may be occasional needs to work Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays on an as-needed basis during certain project phases.
