Quality Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a leading manufacturer of precision aerospace components to help them add a Quality Inspector to their growing team. This company is recognized for producing complex jet engine parts, components, and assemblies for some of the most respected names in commercial, defense, and general aviation. They are committed to delivering top-tier quality and meeting critical production timelines.
Position Overview:
The Quality Inspector will support manufacturing by performing first article, in-process, and final inspections. This role involves interpreting complex engineering drawings, utilizing a variety of inspection tools and equipment, and ensuring all components meet stringent aerospace standards, including those from major OEMs like Pratt & Whitney.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct final, in-process, and first article inspections

Review parts against engineering drawings and specifications using GD&T principles

Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, comparators, etc.)

Perform visual inspections and identify dimensional or surface defects

Complete and maintain accurate inspection documentation and reports

Assist with mold casting to verify internal dimensions

Support production teams while maintaining adherence to AS9100 standards and company quality policy
Qualifications:

Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting dimensional symbols

Hands-on experience with manual and DCC CMMs

Familiarity with aerospace quality standards, especially Pratt & Whitney requirements

Skilled in operating a range of measurement tools and gauges

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Epicor ERP experience is a plus
