SUMMARY
Performs a variety of technical food product tests, process checks, and audits to ensure compliance with company, process, and product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assures quality product by conducting in-process inspections (coding, overrun, temperatures, weights, sensory) and evaluating finished products versus specifications.
  • Conducts plant inspections as required – daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly
  • Identifies in-process product condition by collecting samples during production process; conducting in-process inspections and physical tests.
  • Routinely interacts with plant personnel to provide QC and safety-related information and to keep company and customers apprised of quality and safety concerns, techniques, and regulations.
  • Performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimally high school diploma.
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation requirements in the food industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Prefer)
  • Understanding of FDA/USDA regulations and GMP in a food manufacturing facility
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • 1st shift : 6:00AM - 5:00PM (8hours shift + Over Time)
