QC Site Coordinator

Recruitment Partners is working on the TMEP project and is searching for a QC Site Coordinator. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the QA/QC monitoring process/system to ensure that the Execution Contractor performs QA/QC Activities in compliance with Contract Requirements. The QC Site Coordinator will monitor the contractors performance for achieving the agreed quality standards within the pipeline activities (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of the line).

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

Review and approve contractor piping fabrication and installation inspection and test plans including dimensional control and cleanliness procedures
Reviews and approves contractors piping welding and NDE traceability system and verifies adequate implementation including the preparation and revision control of weld traceability maps
Review Inspection and Test Plans to verify that Execution Contractor is performing all required inspections and witnessing all required tests and add witness and hold points for Inspection
Verify that Execution Contractors Quality Personnel are in possession of valid qualifications related to the functions performed and ensure that fabrication and installation method statements are being followed
Develops piping surveillance and periodic assessment checklists and ensures that the contractor maintains and implements a build clean program
Attend internal meetings with QC\PI\WI and\or Contractor's Quality Coordinator in order to monitors progress of construction and plan Request For Inspection.
Ensure that all inspections and tests witnessed by Inspectors are recorded and documented and that NDE reports are reviewed and signed.

Your strengths include:

A Degree in Environmental Sciences
8-10 years of QA/QC experience in the Oil & Gas industry
Experience in coordinating Contractor’s QA/QC activities
Experience in all aspects of quality assurance management on major pipeline projects
Knowledge of inspection methods applied for materials for piping and pressure equipment in sour service
5-10 years experience in welding quality control or welding engineering
Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask
