QC Administrator

Recruitment Partners is working on the Trans Mountain Expansion Project (TMEP) and is searching for an experienced QC Administrator for the project. This long-term contract role will be based out of Hope, BC and will require a 3 year commitment in an extremely demanding, fast-paced environment.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Creating and populating turnover documentation
  • Resolving QC issues and taking proper procedures to resolve
  • Maintaining the RFI logs
  • Identifying and reporting on non-conformance's
  • Stamp, log and check-in all drawings, specification and documentation as required by the project
  • Creating site requisitions and sending for approval
  • Creating and tracking PO’s
  • Reviewing and completing specific logs and documentation
  • Reviewing NDT reports and ensure all are filed accurately
  • Scanning and uploading turnover binders
  • Providing support to project managers when required
  • Managing the training matrix and booking employees in safety courses
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Your strengths include:

  • 5+ years of progressive QC experience in the Pipeline, Construction or Oil and Gas industry
  • Post-secondary education in engineering or suitable education/certifications will be considered
  • Strong analytical skills are required
  • Experience with large pipeline projects will be considered an asset
  • CSTS-09 and OSSA certifications are required
  • PSTS (Pipeline Safety Training System) is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel is a must
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Strong understanding of safety documentation and terminology
  • The ideal candidate would come from a high volume, fast-paced environment in the Pipeline/Oil and Gas/Construction industry
  • Ability to work flexible hours
