Job Duties

  • Lead end-to-end purchasing operations including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance measurement
  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing initiatives to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards
  • Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and material planning to align with production demands
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers while continuously evaluating vendor performance
  • Analyze market trends, pricing data, and buying patterns to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Create and maintain documentation around purchasing processes, vendor agreements, and inventory controls
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Finance teams

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in purchasing and inventory management
  • Track record of successful supplier relationship management and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain databases and reconcile inventory records
  • Experience monitoring vendor performance and analyzing competitive bids
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business/Supply Chain preferred
  • Prior experience in manufacturing/industrial environment a plus
