Purchasing Manager: Southern New England

Role You Will Play:
This position requires an industry specialist who knows the ins and outs of purchasing. This hire will need to know where to find products and vendors for specific purchases, including doors, windows, mouldings, lumber, etc. An ideal candidate will have experience in overseas buying and managing freight and trucking from port. The overall goal of the Purchasing Manager is to lead the purchasing department in a way that contributes to the successful operation of all departments and is consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and core values. The Purchasing Manager performs the essential functions of the job to achieve the department goals, within company policies and procedures (including human resources, training, customer service, sales, marketing, inventory control, financial performance, delivery of goods and service, inter-department coordination, communications, safety, and security).
